Hello everyone,

Is Casey Anthony a liar? Yes, she is a convicted liar. Is she a party girl who appeared to be unconcerned about her daughter, who was, at that time, missing? Based on the pictures which were released to the public, that would be a reasonable conclusion. Is she a murderer? In the court of public opinion, Casey Anthony would be slotted somewhere between Son of Sam, the Boston Strangler and Ted Bundy. The reality of the situation is this: despite what Nancy Grace says, she was not convicted of Murder. For those who don't agree with the verdict, it is time to resume your lives.

You see, the laws of the land worked exactly the way they were supposed to. The State of Florida presented their case, the defense team presented theirs, and the jury deliberated. The result? Convicted of basically lying to law enforcement officials. The penalty? Casey Anthony will be released from jail on July 17th. There it is folks, laid out in black and white. She will be walking out of jail next week. Whether you agree or not, it is the American way.

Before I go on, I believe that Casey Anthony had knowledge of what happened to her daughter. My gut tells me she is guilty, but that is not enough for a conviction in court. There is a huge difference between reasonable suspicion and guilt beyond a reasonable doubt.

The prosecution did not have proof the Casey murdered Caylee. Reasonable people can surmise that Casey knew something happened to her daughter. The State of Florida failed in their effort to convict Casey Anthony. That is nobody's fault, it simply is the way events played out. For those of you out there using social media to spew hateful venom toward Casey Anthony, remember, you are exercising your rights of freedom of speech.

In the rush to promote a "Caylee's Law", here's something to remember - someone out there may be offended by the "I hate Casey" online campaign. Could someone start an online petition against you for participating in such actions? You can not change the rules when the result of a trial don't suit you. Stop trying to close the barn door after the horse has run away. Online venom and intimidation really should not be the way to go either. Casey Anthony has the right to walk out of jail and resume her life on July 17th.

I suggest that we should all follow suit.

Until next time.

Your article explains the results in the Anthony trial very well. It is our justice system working they way it was designed to work. Based on the evidence and the jury's judgement, and unanimous vote of not guilty, they let her get off. They did not know as much as we in the general public and therefore, did what they were told by judge instruction. I happen to really believe that she was responsible for Caylee's death. I also grumbled that she's getting away with murder and now she's going to get rich and famous for it on top of the whole mess. But that's because of the fascination people have and their appetite for sensationalism or whatever you want to call it. It's sad but it sure isn't the first time a jury has released a probably guilty defendant.
