Michael Jackson, The King of Pop, is being laid to rest today.
I wholeheartedly agree. We have some nasty people in society who thrive on character assassination. It reflects poorly on their upbringing.Any man with a daughter would recognize the sincerity and love in his daughter's speech at his funeral. It was not a show. God bless her.
-GHi Gregory,I totally agree with your comment. There are some newspaper columnists that are calling Jackson's memorial a "freak show" among other things. These folks should back off. As I previously stated, the Jackson family is mourning in public - which makes it easier for the shameless people that thrive on character assassination. Thanks for reading and commenting.JD
Amen JD!I have learned to "judge not lest ye be judged". I myself remember the joy that Michael Jackson brought into my life as a teenager through his wonderful talent. Especially the music and videos. Now is the time to let go and allow him to go in peace.Blessings,MichelleHi Michelle !!It's good to hear from you! I feel that most people should have enough on their plates without taking potshots at others. Michael Jackson was an easy target for the naysayers.I also believe " Let he that is without sin cast the first stone." Those that are engaging in character assassination should ensure that there are no skeletons in their closets.Michael Jackson should be allowed to R.I.P.Thanks and Blessings to you,JD
Good article, JD. I am in agreement with you. His family and loved ones are grieving a man the public never knew. I doubt his family cares a bit about the controversy right now. They miss their loved one, just as any of us would.JL,I hope the Jackson family is able to find peace in this turbulent time in their lives. My sincere hope is that the children will be all right. Thanks for reading and commenting.JD
Judge,I agree with you. Well done!Gosh, how much better the world would be without the bias of the media!NancyHi Nancy,Life without the bias of the media..........well, the world would still have its hiccups, but that would create one less impediment to solving many of our problems. Thanks for reading and commenting.JD
Nicely written, but I am really sick of hearing about MJ.Hi Anon,Thanks for reading and commenting. It looks like the coverage is calming down somewhat. This will continue for another few weeks, if foul play is confirmed, buckle your seat belts. It's gonna be BAD !JD
Just saw this, JD! Here! Here! I'm with you. To answer your question, that's Prince, isn't it? Controversy! *giggle*Hi Avis,You're right! The Purple One can now assume the throne left by the Gloved One.(Chuckle)That Prince, boy will he be the subject of another article! Thanks for reading and commenting.JD
JD, I agree with you. I can't imagine having to grieve over a family member with the whole world watching. I know it would be that much worse if there were parts of the world who took that time to bring up all of the bad, instead of just remembering the good. Those people should just Beat It!Hi Rob,Yes, I believe that the Jackson family should be allowed to mourn. However, it seems that everyone from former nurses, to lawyers, and gardeners are now weighing in, looking for their 15 minutes of fame.It is time for Joe Jackson to be quiet, didn't he do enough for the family while Michael and his brothers were growing up?Thanks for reading and commenting.JD
